April 2010 - American Dryer’s eXtremeAir product line is awarded green attributes by the General Services Administration of the federal government. These include Recycled, FEMP and Environmentally Friendly designations.

March 2009 - The Discovery Channel aired a program “Building a Sustainable Future” hosted by Louis Gossett, Jr. The program featured several companies with green products. The first of these was the eXtremeAir hand dryer. The eXtremeAir hand dryer was selected because it reduces landfill waste associated with paper towels. September 2007 - The Observer & Eccentric Newspapers - Paper Towels vs Hot Air Extreme Air, cuts the drying time of a conventional blow dryer from 30 - 45 seconds to 10 - 15. “It’s been a paper towel world...This is going to change that.” The Livonia Parks and Recreation Department, Michigan Speedway and University of Michigan are among its local customers.
